Alcohol Prescription Medication Addiction Intervention
Dear Carmine,
I want to thank you for orchestrating a brilliant, compassionate and thoroughly effective intervention for my beloved friend.
After a friend contacted Carmine and invited a few of us to intervene on a friends behalf, we gathered with great fear and apprehension to orchestrate a life saving and necessary intervention. Our individual and collective fear was off the charts. We were all aware of the great risks involved in an intervention, and one of the greatest fears, besides it not working, was the fear of alienating our friend forever.
Carmine brought clarity, structure, calm, strength and a deep compassion for our friend and for us. He brought a wealth of information, along with a very structured set of rules that we had to adhere to. An intervention, as I discovered, could only be as good as the group’s ability to follow Carmine’s brilliant guidelines.
We were put through a very effective training in a very short time, and the next day, the intervention followed. We were all terrified of the outcome. Carmine’s leadership and his grounded strength and courage made the intervention go smoothly, calmly, lovingly, and most importantly, EFFECTIVELY!
If there was a chance to succeed, it was because of Carmine. From beginning to end, he stayed with our friend and flew with him to his rehab destination, following up and making sure our friend was given the utmost care and support.
I have an acquaintance who knows of someone in desperate and dire need to get off of a myriad of substances. No one near that person has intervened. I always state how heartbreaking it is that no one loves this person enough to have an intervention. Ask yourself, “Do I love the person in my life enough to risk their rejection of me so I may save their life?” If the answer is yes, call Carmine and do the right thing.
For anyone considering an intervention as a means to give a loved one a real chance at recovery, Carmine is brilliant.
